Amazing Nomad numbers

24 hours ago I posted notice here on Baja Nomads that I had added new baja photos to my website. Well in that 23 hour period 13,000 views have been made to the site. I find that quite amazing. Now that doesn't mean that there was 13000 visitors , it just means that people made that many clicks on the photos. Example: if 100 people looked at 10 photos it would register as 1000 hits. The site is set up so that you can make comments about any of the photos if you'd like. I hope you enjoy the pics. Is navigatiing around on the smugmug site easy? Any suggestions?

Besides loving your photos, I really like the format at smugmug. I think I may move mine from webshots.

So why did your flash fire on almost all the photo's? The photo's all seem to be much brighter and without the shadows that I frequently get in harsh sunlight. I can see using the flash for the closeups but it went off even on your longranghe shot.

Hi Diane, Thanks for the compliment. You can try smugmug for free before you buy so that is good. There are lots of good photo hosting sites but like I said in another post I think smugmug is the best. When/if you sign up use this coupon #

ihjJWx5ZivAO2

and you will get $5 off of your subscription and they will credit me with $10 off of my next subscription(anyone is welcome to use that coupon#). I won't go into all the reasons why I like them so much but will say that smug is extremely easy to use and powerful and you have UNLIMITED STORAGE which most of the other sites don't have. BahaBob, I usually use the flash in bright sunlight to get rid of shadows on faces etc. I frequently use the flash on the long distance shots because I forgot to turn it off!!!

Could be the reason my photos are brighter than what you usually get is I normally take the time to lighten them up or make whatever adjustments they need in Photoshop(which costs mucho $$$) or sometimes i use Picassa2 which is free.
