Tioga and George

A little travel journal I ran across today. Some of you may run across Mr. Bowen.

Hi terrybird,

Yep, George and his "friends" Ms Tioga, Little Twee, Mr. Mavica, et al have been around for a couple of years. I visit his blog three or four times a week. He's a wonderful guy and is sure enjoying his full-timing.

If you're new to his blog, you might go back through some of his journals from this past summer when he had trouble crossing the border. Not our kind and friendly border to the south, but the border to the north. Seems as though since he didn't have a "permanent residence" the Canadian Customs declined his visitor permit. He did finally get in, but only after help from some of his readers.

Also, his trip down into Baja last year was great to read. You might do a Search above and use 'Tioga George' and I'll bet you'll see some comments about him on this board.

BTW, who is "Mr. Bowen"?

Thanks for the reply, I thought Bowen was Georges last name. Since I posted this I have read quite a few of his entries. His blog is a good way to while away some of these really cold Dec. days:)
