When I look at the top of this page I see a banner ad for property in Punta Chivato, sale or rent. To be clear, I am NOT promoting this place - just mentioning that I see the ad and I'll bet you can too. ;)

Bajasunshine:
I too am looking for something on the Sea of Cortez. It appears that Mulege area is one of the least expensive areas compared with Loreto and south to La Paz. I think it has something to do with no large airport nearby. I like the more funky, more mexican towns like Santa Rosalia.
I picture my place on the beach and not in town but close enough to get supplies. My friends and I like to play music, fish and look for adventures. good luck in your search and maybe we'll see you down there.
