San Felipe Animal Shelter Victim of Arson

Caught this on the SF Website, the Amimal
Shelter was burglerized and part of the
Shelter was set on fire last Sun. 1/8,
some dogs were lost, the camp dogs of
SF become part of your stay when camping
in SF, nothing better than seeing
the perros running the beach carefree
and unencumbered ,sort of defines the
Baja Spirit

San Felipe Animal Rescue Thrift Store Help

Along with $$ donations, SFAR operates a thrift store. We all have a little bit of room to throw in a 50 lb. bag of dog food for the rescue and some great donations for the shop on our next trip down. Please support the thrift store by donating quality items for resale. They also have a site on ebay selling quality items.

Thanks to Sancho for first bringing the animal rescue tragedy to our attention and to David for his follow up.

baja animal rescue

This group has been doing a wonderful job improving the lives of the san felipe street dogs. Many now have great new homes as well fed spoiled gringo pets!!
An easy way to support this worthy program is to shop at their EBAY store. Lots of great deals on shoes and all the $$ goes directly to the rescue.

The ebay stor name is bajaanimalrescue or you can link to it from their web site.
