Actually, no... Bob doesn't own a computer or have his own satellite uplink from his beach home. Space is not a problem here, either... Antagonizing posts by people who hide behind anonymous for a name is a problem, however... IMO. Beach Bob provides us with happenings around L.A. Bay, and does that for free. I think a thread (that YOU don't have to open) for communicating to Bob is not hurting anyone.... IMHO.

I agree

I've only met him once, but I'll envy him forever. He's a giver not a taker. And thus he"ll forever be one of the happiest of our lot.

Anon; People might take your point more serious if you registered or used your regular handle. This, however, isn't the old Amigo's and one doesn't need to read through every post/thread unless one chooses to.

Thank you David K., you are my hero.

This board is a "General Baja Discussion" board. I assume that means that items can be written that pertain to Baja and to the folks on the board that love Baja.

Mr. Anonymous, if you don't like the post then simply don't read them.

When I was a kid my Mom and Dad would have slapped my mouth

for using the term "shut-up" (I also have a rule in my house that is it a "bad word")

Anyway....Beach Bob does indeed have a computer but does not have internet hook-up, while he's living the good life from his beautiful home and reading on his porch staring out at the wonders of the Sea of Cortez, he, on occasion will borrow a connection to check in here for messages from us less fortunate. So, as David K. (and others) said.....DON'T OPEN THE DANG THREAD..... I will never understand why this keeps coming up.....I could understand if there was some virus aloft....but, GEEZ! It's just people trading messages! And (IMHO) Minnow is right....this always seems to come from some "annon" step up to the plate.
