Sharky goes South again

I'm off tomorrow for another month in Loreto. I will try to come back with a positive report for you all this time. All is not lost in Loreto...it is still my favorite place in the world. Love the people, love the customs, the food and the pueblo. For those of you who still work for a living....I am sorry. I did my turn in the barrel too. Save your money so you can do what you want when you retire. Goodbye cruel world, hello Loreto.:lol::lol:

Sharky,

They moved Loreto to Cabo! Or Cabo to Loreto? You'll know when you get there.

Bien Viaje Amigo.....Heading to Florida "The Ides of March".....

I heard they moved Chicago to Florida, I'll just wait and see. Times, they are a-changing.

Capt. George

Sharky. When you get to town, try the new "little" restaurant that sells Crepes for 18.00 pesos. It's located just to the west of Iguana Inn. (properties adjoin) Young Frenchman trying to get a start. I had "small" size with mashed potatos, whipped egg, sausage & cheese. $18.00 pesos. It's an outside seating, as inside isn't very large. He speaks some English, and pretty good with his spanish. Says starting to do cakes also. And does quiche. At those prices, I don't see eating huavos rancheros very often anymore. Give me a call when you get here. Phil

There were NO hotel rooms available in Loreto or Nopolo last night!

Maybe because of Carnival.

or because...

It's a Boomtown!

Arghhh!

Weather's kinda nice, not too much wind. The fish all seem to be way up near Pulpito, though, but there's always quiche. ;D

The crepas are fantastic as is the quiche. They are now doing pizza and cakes. Try them out as they are trying to make it here and it is sooo....nice to have different culinary choices.

The carnaval parade was great and we are waiting for today's to start.

Go to Baja to eat crepes? Sounds like the end is nigh for Loreto. When does a town get too touristy?
