aparcar

Apparently this has now displaced "estacionar" in Spain. This is similar to "parquear" in Aztlan. Both obviously come from "to park" in English.

(I have no idea how the royal academy feels about this, but few modern Spaniards seem to care either.)

The Southwestern United States that was previously part of Mexico, ancestral home of the Aztecs who migrated South to what is now Mexico City, and now home to homies who now wish to reassert their culture and celebrate their heritage, even if they speak lousy Spanish. :tumble:

I'm reminded of a C&C movie in which Cheech was composing a song entitled "Mexican-Americans", one of the lines went:

Mexican-Americans
Like education
So they go to Community College
And take Spanish
And get a C...

Chong then followed up with hiis version which went:

Beaners
Beaners
Beaners

No se aguiten, carnales! :lol::lol::lol:
