Stuck in sand in at Asuncion

Headed out to Asuncion for a boat tour of the sea lion colony in the area. It was getting dark as I started on the dirt road in my two wheel drive escape, my plan was to stay the nite.
As I got closer to town I could see the lights in the distance. It was a pretty jarring ride and as I came around a corner the sand was getting deeper, the winds had been strong for the last couple of days and sand drifts had blown the sand over the roads and in no time I was stuck! Tried to back out but couldn't so I just had to wait till someone came along and about a half hour later two pickups came by and the guy's got me out of the mess and said that I need a 4 wheel drive to go any futher. They told me to go up a little way and turn around so I did. On the way back as I crossed the salt flats and the wind was blowing and the foam bubbles were flying over the my suv, in the moon light they were glowing light green in color. It was spooky but wild! I drove back to San Ignaico and followed a truck so he could clear the road for me. I guess It will have to wait till another time.

We all want a peaceful world, filled with love and laughter, but we fill ourselves with anger and hate trying to fiqure out how to achive it.
