Sailing the Sea

here is a really cool thing:

"Conservation in the Sea of Cort?s

The Sea of Cort?s is the more romantic name for the Gulf of California. The area was held in high regard by Jacques Cousteau and inspired a novel by John Steinbeck. The sea is host to one-third of all marine mammal species, including the vaquita which is only found there. Sea lions, giant manta rays, elephants seals, whales, dolphins, hammerhead sharks, sea turtles and a plethora of other marine life is found in the sea. However, over-fishing, pollution, a lack of fresh water reaching the sea, unsustainable industries and tourism are some of the major threats to the area. For these and other reasons, the Sea of Cort?s is a treasure we need to protect."
