Rancho Ojai in Tecate

Just stayed at Rancho Ojai east of Tecate. Great place, especially if you have kids. I took my nephews (4 & 7) there and had a great time.

You can camp, or bring your Rv, but we stayed in the camping cabins which sleep 4 to 8 people. Rustic log cabins some with kitchens and bathrooms, BBQ, picnic table and porch. Prices ranged from $60-$90 a night for cabins, $11-$20 for camping/RV.

The grounds were great (here's where the kids come in) as they have a pool and jacuzzi, minature golf, farm animals including peac-cks, horseback riding, basketball court, playgrounds, game room, and recreation room. They also have a store and restaurant (but it's only open part ofthe year). The staff was very, very friendly.

I'd recommend this to anyone getting away for a couple days with the family.
