Fuel prices for May 2006.

Hi everyone, these are the fuel prices for the current month (only after 20km south of border with the US):

Magna.............$ 6.29 pesos per liter
Premium..........$ 7.43 pesos per liter
Diesel..............$ 5.16 pesos per liter

These prices are in liters, and 1 gallon = 3.7854 liters.

Today (May 1st) 1 dollar = $ 10.80 pesos (+/-)

Using the previous information, this is what we have....

Magna............$ 2.204 dollars per gallon
Premium.........$ 2.604 dollars per gallon
Diesel.............$ 1.808 dollars per gallon

Remember that the fuel prices 20 km along the US border are being locally matched to those in the States, therefore, they are higher than further in Baja.

Happy travels my friends...

As of Saturday magna will be 7.41 and premium 7.95 according to an anouncement by the governor. Article sais the entire state of Baja California, but could just be a reduction for the border.
