For those of you who "lurk" in off topic.

This is certainly the more legitimate side of the forum. I've been investigating what it is in my personality that lets be get sucked into trying to defend civility, then getting so ticked off at the attacks that I lose MY cool. (If I ever had any.) I publicly apologize for lowering the standards of this fine site. I love to debate, but I've found that impossible over there.

I'm all for more love, more peace, and darn I'd like one of Lulu's fish tacos right now.

You guys and gals are top notch in my book, and what I'm feeling right now is embarrassment for letting myself get dragged into the quagmire.

the first rule in debate is don't lose your cool. I loved debate more than anything else in school, I used to like it when I got put with a opponent that had a temper I could Winn every time.

BTW: I'm searching for a "cool dudette" icon. Something like the guy above with sunglasses, but perhaps hair on the head instead of the chin. Needs to be able to be made teenie enough that Doug could add it to our choices. Needs to be comparably 'cool' to the other choices. Anyone?

How about this one?

Well, villadelfin, she is cool... but I'm not looking to replace my oh so fantastic avatar which was taken in El Centenario. I'm looking for a little female face similar to this one...
so that I can beg Doug to add it to the current choices of those thingies.

BTW, I really like your little pueblo of EC. Especially I enjoy the number of places where one can get a good home-cooked meal... like my favorite outdoor breakfast spot, in front of the house of the woman who rents use of the computer in her room... a few blocks from the the Mickey gym. She serves up one delicious meal! There's always yummy freshly made queso at the tienda not far from the big church with the red trim. Tastey tortillas from the panderia... and if you've never had them make up a flan for you, I strongly suggest you do that soon. Cream and sugar and eggs... right up your alley according to your 'signature'. ;D

Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
