Saw this poster on Cielito Lindo's door. A new candidate has entered the race.

I don't think he would last a week down here, he isn't corrupt enough, they would kill him here in Mexico.

Jorge is running on the platform he will work closely with the president of the USA and combine the two countries, either with the name USA and spanish as it's language or as Mexico with english as it's language, thus eliminating border problems.

On a more serious presidential note....

....just got back from 10 days in the San Bruno, Santa Rosalia, Mulege area. Either Lopez Obrador has a most incredible bumper sticker campaign going or the area is overwhelmingly in favor of him.

Also cruised thru the main boulevard of SR and was met by a large contingent of volunteers giving out brochures in favor of Felipe Calderon to people in cars. Many of the local Mexicans were refusing them that I saw.

Not sure what the latest polls are saying but Obrador seems to have the support of the rural working people in this area.

Like your photo. Was that just before, or just after the colonoscopy?
