Wow Judy! Great pics! Do you think Juanita and family are ok? I haven't heard from them in over a week, since before they left here:no:

I just checked the bouyweather website. They predict that things (wind and seas) will peak this p.m. off of Los Cabos and then start to quiet down. They are predicting everything back to normal by Thursday morning.

Hi Judy,
You mentioned being on an island.
We were on an island for six days last year in Az.

More Rain and wind

I was going to go upstairs to see if the road was still open but it is pouring and very windy and I doubt if I could see it anyway. My guess is that it is not open right now. I cannot see the ocean, it is raining so hard.

WHOA...gusts of about 25, sliders covered in rain. now this is a storm

I just found a killer loop. It takes forever to load but it a great picture of what is happening in our area.

Sally...there is really nothing scary happening, just a lot of rain and some wind. I am sure the Juanita and her family are fine. I have heard that there have been water outages in San Lucas(nothing to do with the storm, the reservoirs WERE dry)

We made it through the storm intact! My little girls and I went back to the camper yesterday afternoon, and had lots of wind and rain all day and evening. Things seemed to quiet down by the time we went to bed. Have not seen very much of the sun yet today, Wed., but looks like the worse has passed! I enjoy a good storm for a day or two, but much more and the cabin fever sets in! We just took a drive through downtown Cabo, and the clean up crews are out and about. We never lost power or water, so do not think it was that bad. Lots of wind though, we could feel the camper shaking a bit, but it held its ground! Saludos from CSL, Heather

It should be the key to the right of the 0 (zero) on the numbers keys at the top of the keyboard. The same one that gives you the ? when you shift it. At least that's where it is on my keyboard when I shift it to Spanish.

T&T,

Do I notice a new addition to your signoff !?

Hot in Lyle this week, but no fires, so far.
Hope you're enjoying your Yellowstone summer.
Is Baja in the plans for this winter ??

Thanks TT
Yes I am just fine. The road finally opened around noon today. Just got back from town. Mud everywhere.
But bright sun shiny day now.

Good eye; I've found a "significant other". fishing, and traveling partner. We are discussing whether to head for Baja or the Mexican west coast mainland this winter.

I'd like to explore more of the mainland but am afraid that, if I wait too long to return to BCS, I won't recognize it. Especially around Bahia Concepci?n and Loreto.

Thanks for the weather report on Lyle. It reminds me of the heat wave of the early 50's. The gorge isn't any place to be for extreme summers (or winters) like that. Hope you get some rain soon, or the fires will be inevitable.
