M:..I mean the airport, since I retired, and since airport names seem to change with the wind, I'm never quite sure......airport codes never do), ....I still think that is "Ana" Anaheim that is nearest to you...

As I said, I'm going to sit back for a couple of weeks and see what happens, I'll let you know. Thanks and hugs, Debra

Debra, it has been called John Wayne for many, many years... It is a major jet international airport for Orange County, not a muni airport like Anaheim...

John Wayne / Orange County airport sits on the edge of Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Santa Ana. The terminal is actually in Santa Ana (18601 Airport Way, 92707) and the airport code is SNA.

DEBRA...

John Wayne is SNA

You could also check rates for Long Beach...LGB...on an Alaskan Flight. It's a bit farther, but So MUCH easier to get in and out and the flights into there are sometimes quite a bit cheaper. No long baggage waits and real easy check in and out.

You might check on coming in on Thursday and going home on Tuesday. Those are sometime the cheapest days.

WOW!, I am so happy to see the list growing. It will really be nice to see some old AND new friends. Debra, Amo is right about Long Beach and it is only about another 15 miles. Not a big deal and it probably will be cheaper for you too.
