If Hurricane John tracks up the gulf or up the peninsula, then Hwy. 1 will be a mess (again)... Nobody will get through without 4WD and using the old roads!

Rain si, wind and surge no!

Good to see you are back but not too soon. Of course I have less confidence for us living low along the rio (ain't that just like toopid gringos to do?) than I do for you. Batten down the hatches matey! Look, I'd like to know if that sucker is gonna cause a storm surge up the rio. Has that ever happened or is the flooding always from mountain runoff? Curious minds would like to know??? Thanks for all the help Bruce. Suete Corky

only God can tell you that for sure. but I will keep an eye on things and let you know. as you know there is never any warning for flooding here in Mulege. one minuet every thing is fine and the next every thing is wet.

Bruce: Is the Strip up by the old Hotel Mulege still operable?
Maybe needed if the Serinadad is Closed.

Hang in there, go up on the Hill on the North Side of the River, you will be able to see the Surge coming!!
