Mood: Strongly - Missing Baja

Baja Travel with Airstream trailer

First off - I'd like to apologize for using the id of "bajalover", I realized later that others may think other things than I did. Ijust love Baja.
Spent many years in a Landcruiser camping and now have retired with a 31ft Classic airstream travel trailer. I pull it with an F250 diesel and wish to spend time in Baja this winter. I'd like to stay away from regular campgrounds and much rather pay some of the locals to say near the beach. Did this last year in my truck and paid 2 pesos/night at Bahia Los Angeles. The trailer is big and I'd like to travel around all of Baja "except" Cabo - too much traffic. Plan to look at some land in Todos Santos.
Any good advice is very much appreciated. If I come down in November, what should I bring for the people in Mulege? Generally I take foodstuffs for orphanages. Sometimes toys and bikes for kids.
Again - any input is welcome.;D

I'll new to this sight and hopefully this isn't too long of a msg.

Hopefully, things will be moving forward in Mulege' by November.
I'd check with Bruce when he returns but I would think that lots of kids lost their few toys in the flood so some christmas gifts and school supplies might be a good idea. Kid's clothes and new shoes are always a good idea.

For yourself, bring extra bug repellant and maybe some skeeter netting.

Don't miss a stop around Bahia Conception. You'll still be able to find some manner of seclusion in November. And go see Shari in Bahia As****ion.

Welcome to the board Bajalover.

Not to sure if you will be looking for places to camp when you are looking for property
around TS but I am thinking they are becoming quite scarce. Los Cerritos is probably the best place to try although there are huge changes. I would hope there will still be some
camping available there.

Remember, when in Mexico, yes may be no and no may be
maybe!

Baja travel with airstream trailer

Thank you Diver and Marie-Rose.
1 - the properties I saw on the web comes from Bajasurfproperties. Spoke with Bill here in S. Cal. and he mentioned prices for lots / acres. Is this a reputable company?
2 - toys for kids in Mulege: done deal. shall also bring rice and pinto beans in bags (buying this at Costco).
Hope this will help. To whom would I give this upon arrival?
3 - camping spots: I don't mind staying anywhere that's alittle off from the norm. Shall stop at Bahia Conception and As****ion to see Shari. Where do I find her?

Again many thanks for your assistance/input. This helps alot!!

Todos, Cerritos

Check out Cerritos for camping and lots for sale. Not sure what's up with camping as the place is going through alot of changes. I own land in Todos (Las Tunas) and have a parcel for sale (not cheap).

Talk to Roc in town (http://www.pescadero-properties.com/index.htm).

Lots of people down there selling land. Roc is the only person I trust and do business with. Tell him Lee referred you.

P.S. Go slow, watch your money.
