Beach Resorts - Ensenada

My lady friend and I stayed at Estero and it was very lovely. However, the beach there was lacking. We were wondering if there was something comparable with a nice beach to go with it. Anyone got any hot spots they can shoot at me?

not much in the way of "resorts" at the beach. The nicest beach is Punta Estero (not to be confused with Estero Beach). This is the 7-8 mile sand bar separating the lagoon from the bay on the way out to La Bufadora. No "resorts" but you can find some nice home rentals. Try www.vrbo.com

There is NO nightlife, just peaceful, quiet and serene beach. One restaurant within walking distance serves dinner Wed-Sat and Sun Brunch.

If you are looking for a busier beach, and resort, then stopping in Rosarito my be the ticket. There is the Rosarito Beach Hotel, as well as festival plaza hotel. There are plenty of clubs, and on friday and saturday nights it can be busy.

There is also fine dining within walking distance.

Just depends on the mood you are looking for.

Have a Baja Day
