Best place to stay in Loreto (dog friendly)?

Trip Advisor has some great recommendations online. I need security for my car too.

Any suggestions, please?

Lee,
If your not looking for fancy the Palmas Altas hotel is great for security and is dog friendly. They have a locked gate at night. They also have a small pool and the grounds have a lot of charm. Your only a two blocks from the water. You will see the signs as you drive into town.

Iguana Inn re-opens this week, and is still the best deal in town.
