Cactus Sanctuary

Demetrio invites you to a tour of the Cactus Sanctuary.

It is located just a few klicks off Hwy 1 north of El Triunfo, between La Paz and Los Barriles, on a good road. Paula and I toured the sanctuary Saturday and we highly recommend it!

All the rain has greened things up from Catavina southward, but nowhere as dramatically as the mountains between La Paz and the East Cape:

Don and Paula - that is quite the place, isn't it. Some of the largest cardons I've seen in the Sur. And did you get a look at the sweet little cemetery across the way?

Natalie Ann, we spent so much time in the sanctuario that we had to run off to La Paz and do our errands.

And I always love to visit the cemeteries down here. Darn, I guess we'll have to make another trip there.:saint:
