JENS 'El Aleman' of Baja-Web.com has died.

A really nice man who was always helpful and generous has passed away on Dec. 15, I was just informed. Jens came from Germany to Mexico. He loved Mulege and had spent quite some time there. A computer expert, he created the http://Baja-Web.com highly informative Baja travel web site. Jens (pronounced 'Yens') always attended Baja gatherings, including my Viva Baja get-togethers. Here is a photo (the second one) of Jens at the last event: http://davidksbaja.com/vivabaja4/page10.html

I'm so sorry to hear that....

We last emailed in September and an email earlier this week had gone unanswered. He was a very nice man once you looked past the gruff, germanic exterior.

I will miss him.

Mom always told me to be different - Now she says...Not THAT different

Dick Van Bree (who gave me the sad news today) has posted about Jens on Fred's board. There are some additional details about Jens, as well.

Fred's board is the first one listed in my links to Baja message boards: http://davidksbaja.com/davidsmessage.html
