and an HD capable receiver?

never have seen an HD dish that's a meter or more wide, and you need the LNB and rec designed for HD.
but yeah, if one could, i would. no comparison to std analog video.

love my 1080i

Have equipment

Yes I have the equipment. For those of you who don't know, you must have HD equipment to receive HD signals. Again the question is does anyone know of people receiving DIRECTV HD below in Baja California Sur. It works good in northern baja, but what about in the south???

I heard that DirecTV was going to spot beam locals, does anyone know if that is true? If so, what locals would we be able to get in San Felipe

I will answer quickly so as not to hijack SanFelipeBobs post. Yes they are spot beaming and my Pheonix locals show up in San Felipe, not sure about San Diego.
