Laguna Percebu

Once more for the Percebu & Shell Island fans! Weather was great! No wind. No one on Shell Beach except for a few day trippers. No fishing though?? Shrimp boats were in close at night?? North beach is North Percebu

Stop in at the Percebu cantina & bar and taste the great fish taco's & cerveza!

No camping really as access is thru private property. Plus at high tide, the beach narrows.

Looks like a really high tide Chris...?

We had a windy stay out there one night last month... but it is perfect 5 out of 7 trips!

Dave,

19'

Good spot to hang out for the day if Shell Island is too muddy. One can camp in Percebu & spend the day along this beach. I just hate crossing to Shell Island/Corvina Point with the Jeep as I use way too much water to wash off mud & salt!! The house only has a 600 gal. water tank.

FYI, bring some Salt Away next time you have your truck washed in SF. I use the stuff liberaly on the Jeep & quads along with silicon spray. It really helps to breakdown & flush the salt.

Interesting, Salt Away? Where do you get it?

Thanks!

Traditionally, it's used for flushing jet ski and boat motors. But can be used to treat a vehicle that has been in salt.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....
