Where to get Tourist Visa in Mexicali?

What's the easiest way to get the tourist Visa 'shuffle' done in Mexicali? Can you get one and pay at the border, like in TJ?

Any Info would be helpful...thanks.

...or...does anyone have any up-to-date info on the routine at the BCS border in G.N....Thought I read recently that there is an office there where you can get a visa & pay, without having to go into GN to the Bank...add'l info appreciated. Thanks.

Mexray going through the Calexico port the offices are on the left hand side as you cross the border. You can sometimes park on the left hand side just before you cross. I'm sure you can park at the declaration parking also. The bank is close by. I don't know the business hours. I've done it twice there and it's been easy going both times.
Going through the east port the offices are on the right side as you cross. Plenty of parking in the declaration section. There is a small bank office after the offices. I've never got a card from this port and again I don't know the hours of business. Paul
