Getting back to San Diego?

Is there a time / place where it's 'easier' to get back into San Diego?

Is it better on a weekday to come back, say before 6am, regardless of the entry point?

Is it better at only certain entry points?

By better, I mean shorter lines and less time waiting in line to get back into the USA.

Bad all the time, but Sundays are naturally worse... Mid-day to mid-afternoon is probably the best. Mornings is when all those living in Mexico get in line to work in the land of Milk & Honey!

I just went down for the day, today. Took 1.5 hours to get back thru Otay, we went there because it looked so bad at San Ysidro. Walk if you can.

We find it best about midday during the week-horrible during the week-end. If you cross alot go for a Sentri pass. It saves alot of time.

Hey, if you cross a couple of times a year the SENTRI is worth it!!! How many times have we sat there in 2-3 hour wait saying, I'd give someone $100 to get out of this line right now...
