Its Too Cold here in So. Cal.

So I am leaving for at least three weeks in Loreto. If I can get any sun for anyone, just let me know. Sorry for those of you that can't make it right now. Work always seems to stand in the way of things, doesn't it. Hasta la Vista, Baby.

Sharky, if you think it is cold in southern California, then you would be in dire trouble in my territory.

We've had snow storms for a week solid. Each night a fire helps heat the upstairs, but you can chill your beer downstairs in my house. Each time someone opens the front door, a blast of freezing air comes in to chill you to the bone.

Now I'm not complaining, because there is a strong upside to living in Mammoth. A forest around my house; clean air; traffic jams (when tourists crowd the town) that flatlanders would laugh at; miles of available offroading; and of course, the best ski mountain in the states.

However, despite a season pass for all the skiing one can endure, I do long for the warm to the bone marrow sunshine that Baja affords. So please absorb a huge dose of rays for me, and have a great time!
