Argentina...No Wall

Tue Jul 31, 2007 4:42 pm (PST)

Mexico, Jul 31 (Prensa Latina) President of Argentina, Nestor Kirchner, criticized on Tuesday
the construction of a wall on the border between US and Mexico.

Before Mexican senators and deputies, Kirchner expressed solidarity with Mexico and
repudiated the metal wall Washington is building to try fight illegal immigration.

Kirchner called on those building "the wall of shame" to reconsider and understand that it is
better to follow the paths of conciliation and respect to diversity.

It is not only an affront to Mexico, but to the whole Latin America and the entire world, said
the Argentine president, who is on a state visit here.

And the Point Would BE ???

What possible relevance is there to Argentina's opposition to the U.S. enforcing security at the Southern border.

Besides once being the capital of Beef (now Brasil), Argentina is best known for colluding with the Third-Reich during WWII and harboring [*N-zi*] War Criminals afterwards in addition to being ruled by Fascists (Peron) and various Military juntas, one of which had the incredibly poor idea of going to war with Great Britain.

What value should we place on any wisdom they have to share ?

"What possible relevance is there to Argentina's opposition to the U.S. enforcing security at the Southern border."
The relevance I see is, they are trying to protect their remittance money too....Most socialist country's depend on their USA GNP since
they have little ability to create their own.

on Friday last week an illegal and his gal pal, also illegal, murdered a phx cop in cold blood. they took his cuffs as a bragging trophy.
they were caught quickly and are eligible for the death penalty.

Mexico of course will protest loudly when they receive it.

we will cheer when the the State administers it.....

the cop was 23 with 2 young kids and now a widow.

The only problem is that we should have built the da-m thing years ago !!

I remember the issue of the newspaper salesmen who took up positions along the highway off-ramps and major intersections in south Florida.
Realizing that many of these locations were posted against pedestrian access and that no vendors' permits were ever requested or paid for.
After a year or so and a few accidents involving or casued by them, a complaint was issued and they ended up in court.
The judge ruled that since they had been making their living in this manner, they could not take this means of earning a living from them and ruled that they could continue - even though it was clearly against numerous pre-existing laws.

Oh, so Argentina has an open border and allows foreigners to bypass their visa system?
