El Rosario to Tecate - November 24th

20 or so well-built Jeeps and Toyotas will make the trek north along Hwy 1 from El Rosario (Baja Cactus) to Tecate leaving at approximately 0900, stopping at El Palomar for gasoline and brunch. In Ensenada, we will take the route north into Tecate, and cross the border there. We will not be stopping for photographs or more food since we will be wanting to quickly cross the border and get home.

If in need of a caravan partner (or 20), just send me a U2U and I'll be in touch. No need for a 'Nomad to travel alone and be worried about their safety with so many big Jeeps traveling in tandem.

Y'know, maybe Ken has a good idea here. With all the reports lately, some people might be hesitating to head to Baja on their own, particularly the first part.

We could have Nomad alerts when somebody is heading thru, and folks could convoy with them!
I'm happy to start it off:

Vanda & I are leaving San Diego KOA about 10AM Nov 12th to Ensenada, towing our trailer. Be forwarned tho - it's Baja 1000 time & everything in Ensenada is packed! All right if you're driving thru, tho.
