Weekend in Baja: Report soon! (Report Done!)
Went to Guadalupe Canyon, took lots of photos of the fire damage and nearby petroglyphs... Border wait only 9 minutes at Tecate today (SUN.) at
11:30am.
Baja Angel and I traveled with Hotschott and Val... We were the only campers there on Friday night and just one group came and camped at El Dorado on
Saturday night.
Details coming soon... check the Trip Reports Forum!
Oh, it was great! Cold at night... but the water was good and hot... Days were awesome, no wind!

We didn't go to Baja for 5 months after our big July trip to El Rosario, Asuncion and Bahia Concepcion.
We had a great trip to Arizona in November instead of the Baja 1000. So, call it what you will... maybe a personal boycott because we don't need to
fear driving from Tijuana to Ensenada? Organized boycotts don't work...
However, it does seem with the arrival of military to Tijuana and Rosarito (as I hoped for) things 'might' get better... I did cross at Tecate both
directions and avoided the TJ-Ensenada corridor.
Anyway, thanks for the note and that you are glad I have returned to my beloved Baja to do another trip report of one of its great sites!

When I went with 14 Jeeps in November, none of us felt the least bit scared.
The Jeepers didn't want to travel in tandem through the Ensenada to Tijuana corridor, and I didn't stop them.
Personally, I think that with the recession and all of the bad press, Baja Norte will hopefully clean up its act in order to lure any possible
tourists back as soon as they are able.
Welcome back to BAJA, David K!!
