4 1/2 minutes of light rain at the beach in La Ventana this morning around 6:30.
Hooked a nice little Roosterfish off the beach just before the raindrops !!
Looks to be another beautious day with a few clouds to paint the sunrise !!

Nice refreshing rain ...... An Omen, perhaps?

-

The clouds broke here for an instant and a shaft of sunshine lit up Sta. Barbara Island like a shining 'piece of eight.' We are loading the metal detector and shovels into the boat now in preparation for a full day of digging for booty..

-

Rain..some sprinkles started yesterday at 5 pm and continued on and off throughout the night. This morning the mountains behind us are shrouded in rain clouds...and the buzzards are patiently waiting to dry out.

If I had to be anywhere in the rain, I'd rather be there. Raining here too in San Luis Obispo. An inch and a half by the time I went to bed last night and it hasn't stoppped.

Enjoy it, the deserts are going to be beautious and your patio furniture is going to be clean!

Shoot, the desert smells wonderful and it is a great day for Golf at San Bruno. Fishing has been lousy the last few days anyway.

We had a few light sprinkles of big fat rain drops last night in Todos Santos..... just enough to bring out the dust on the truck.
