Nomad Characters, Pen in Hand

I am looking forward to seeing Randy Mac's talent. His rendition of Skeet was wildly creative! To start, here are several pages of photos from the past four years of Amigos de Baja and Baja Nomads and Baja book authors...

I think this will be grand... and I hope you can benefit too, Randy Mac!

For anyone's curiosity as to the face behind the name/ handle... I have four Viva Baja, three BBBB, and one Booksigning party photo pages from over the past four years... many amigos/ Nomads are still here...

Not so self-conscious anymore. Thanks David K...

I got ambitious tonight and decided to create a surprise for Thursday to post here.

It'll be the first "Nomad Characters Pen in Hand" poster, and I'm on a roll. I'm almost at the first draft stage and I hope you'll like it. I'm having alot of fun with this one. It's more of a poster than the other style.

Look for it sometime tomorrow (Thursday, April 8) and at the latest on Friday.

SUGGESTION...

The links (above) to photos of Baja Amigos, Nomads, and authors have been on line for up to four years, in my web site. I relisted them in the link above to help find them quicker, they were not just now put up.
After I make a web site with others photos in it, I ask if they approve or would like the caption to say anything different than what I put. After any editing requested, I then make the site 'public'...

If anyone who is photographed doesn't want Randy Mac to draw a cartoon/charicature of you, let him know here or (u2u).

If anyone, after all these months or years wants me to re-edit their image in any of my web pages, post or email me. Only my web host can make those changes, but as soon as he can, it will be done. I will be in Baja FRI-SUN (see Notes link, below).

This post to everyone is the result of ONE person's emailed concern. I aim to please, so
I hope this will make everyone comfortable. Thank you for your time...

Caricatures of people. Just as I am self-conscious about my name in subject headings...

the possibility of causing someone to be insulted are too great to create caricatures of people that I do not know personally. My intention is to never insult anyone, therefore I have decided to not post any caricatures or posters.

If anyone was insulted in any way, my deepest apologies. I appreciate the encouragement from David K to draw caricatures etc, but since I do not know any of the people in his web site photos personally, I feel it best to not use any of their images and not post any likenesses at all.

If I do post anything in way of caricatures in the future, it will be of a completely generic nature, so as to not cause any member of this board any insult.

Sincerley,

RandyMac

Go ahead, I for one would love seeing your caricatures. You are right though, it would be a good idea to check with the 'subject' before posting them. I can't wait to see the one of Mike H.! (I have already been given permission to give you permission (just kidding!), Neal Johns has already posted the best I've ever seen in his Avatar of himself....he looks just like that! Well, he does have a bit more hair.
