Using that logic, the sentry line sucks too. You have to pay uncle sam to get preferential crossing rights.

Yeah. That's the price of admission for qualified people to enter the country with relative ease. You shouldn't have that privilege just because you got a cheap root canal.

If you get upset that Mexico will give preference to medical patients, you can always get a Sentry pass that will enable you to speed up to the border and run over the grandmas-on-chemo and root-canal patients standing in the medical line.

The US promotes business by allowing people pay to cross the border quickly. Mexico promotes business by managing the lines on their sovereign lands.

What steams me :fire: is that as a US citizen I have to pay my government to get fast crossing clearance at the border :fire::fire:

I say hold back some money that Haliburton is stealing from us in Iraq and hire a few more border inspectors here in San Diego :lol:

Just back from Rosarito. Border wait at San Ysidro with Sentri-----30 seconds......I am absolutely not lying. The Sentri pass is the greatest thing since sliced bread, IMHO......

I don't believe that anything the customs and immigration departments do at the border is motivated by business.
