Regarding fish tacos, Ensenada

Calimex has stirred up a controversy without defending the position.

I would like to start a thread about great fish taco places is Ensenada. I have searched diligently on BB's and tried places on my own, without the kind of success that says, "This is wonderful!"

Bob H. posted a great story about his favorite place, but it is in El Sauzal, so technically, it's not Ensenada.

Looking forward to your learning about your favorite places!

Re: Bob H place in El Sauzal

That place ROCKS! We stopped in there last Sunday. The BEST fish tacos my lovely wife Barbara and I have ever tasted, so far.

Heading south you can't get to Ensenada without passing by!

Regarding fish tacos in general, its ok to eat tacos with fried fish while passing through Ensenada or on a party night, but what if I'm going to stick around town for awhile; where can you find good-tasting grilled fish tacos in Ensenada at a good value?

The best fish Tacos are not located in Ensenada, they are in Tijuana, Playas de Tijuana precisely.

EGL... I'm so glad you and your wife enjoyed Maria's fish tacos! Did you also try her tacos camerones?
We just returned this afternoon from our Mulege venture... trying to unload everything now. We had a blast!

We got there late and missed the camarones. We will be back soon! We told here that we heard about the place on the internet. She gave us a puzzling look and then I told her daughter a big gringo had taken photos and put them on the computer and she remembered you guys being there. We told her she was world famous!
