Baja Book Signing Fiesta, Next Sat. Afternoon

Meet your favorite Baja authors, get an autograph in your copy, buy a signed copy there, stay for the fiesta... wine tasting, beer samples, pot luck dinner, tequila tasting (hosted by GeoRock)...

The Pyramid Resort is about a mile north of the Toll Highway Exit for: K-58/ Alistos campground, Hotel La Mision, and La Fonda Restaurant. Go north to the Plaza Del Mar entrance and drive around the big Aztec pyramid... See you there!

Visited your site

I visited your site again just now and I am impressed with everything you have done. I just would not have the patience to go through everything you have. I think your project will be a wonderful addition to the area. I would recommend to anyone planning something similiar, that they visit your site to see all the paperwork needed to do things the correct way. Hasta, Sharky

Book Signing

Felt that it ws important for you all to know that Jimmy will be honored at the signing with a table and a plaque. The plaque has a picture of Jimmy but I have not mastered the skill to place it here. I have borrowed from Gene Kia with his blessing.
?DON? JIMMY SMITH
1927 ? 2004

Jimmy was the guest of honor at the First Annual Book Signing at the Pyramid Resort. We were all honored to have the Don in our presence at what proved to be the peak of his career. A gentleman and a scholar who greeted ?everyone? as a good friend and before the day was over we all had discovered what a great friend he could be.
He died, on January 3, 2004, as he had lived: a courageous man, honored, respected, and yes, loved by all who knew him. And in the end--surrounded by his family--he had what he always said he wanted most: "A simple place beside the road, where I can be a friend to all."
Don Jimmy will always have his place by the road in Los Barriles AND he will be always in our hearts and will remain the Most Special Guest of Honor at all future Book Signings at this wondrous spot along the Pacific.
SALUDOS!
