CHAMPAGNE PADRE


From the Coyote Cafe, by Mark Miller

For 1 c-cktail

1 tsp. superfine sugar
2 dashes bitters
1 ounce cognac
3 ounces shampagne
lemon peel

In a champagne glass, stir together the sugars, bitters, amd cognac until the sugar dissolves. Add the champagne and stir once. Garnish with a long spiral of lemon peel.
