Baja traffic jams....
Returning from races Saturday afternoon....lots of race traffic as expected heading north to Ensenada...big delay at the checkpoint...half a mile
backup....20 minutes waiting...got into town closer and road narrows to one lane at one point with gridlock at intersection...10 minutes...get to
border ...not bad...arrive at 5PM...exit 5:30....

Jim, how about a report on what you saw of the Baja 500?

I was stunned....
to fly past the vendor shacks to the end of the line about 20 cars long on a Tijuana Sunday night about 8:15.
I had spent the day (breakfast at La Espada?a) power-shopping with friends and came back loaded with a fountain and some large terra cota items.
I had braced myself for a long wait...this being Sunday and the vendors looked very unhappy as everyone whizzed by.
