Highway 3 - Ensenada to Sn Felipe

Can anyone give an update on road conditions for this stretch of 3?

We drove down last weekend. Road is fine. Highway widening close to S.F. forces you to detour to a hard, dirt road running parallel to the pavement for a short ways.

The widening is on Hghy 5, after you get off Hghy 3.

It is a very lightly traveled road. Just wanted to mention that in case you have travelers who may be spooked by the current hoopla about crime.
