here's a hint: there is a broken dam @ the entrance of the canyon. (broke after a big flash flood)

I'm pretty certain it's a canyon in La Trinidad, the one where one hikes into the cave painting area? :spingrin:

Great area west of Mulege, cave paintings, giant cardons, forests of palo blanco and an experimental desert farm (low-water use crops).
