Thanks for the morning read, Mike. The confusion of land ownership adds to Mexico phobia of US citizens.

wasn't my intent to spark controversy or add to paranoia over land deals in Mexico.
i found it interesting, that's all.
i have been friends with and a loyal customer of the Johnsons since my 1st time staying there in 1981. Don has never discussed the ejido claims or his personal biz with me. He has however told me some great stories of the past and i consider him a lagend living still at perhaps 90.

i hope i can get to see him again before he splits this world. i have never known anyone to work as hard as he does at such an advanced age.

Looks like Rafael Munoz must have read the same story way over there on the marithon thread :barf:

Thanks Mike. Good read, very sad event. They don't come any nicer than Don and Nancy. Welcome to Mexico folks. ++C++:fire:

All's well that ends well, for Don and Nancy. But, I've always wondered if they would have achieved the same result if Nancy was not a native born Mexican.
