There is No official fish freezing facility but...

You can try and cut a deal with one of the resteraunts or mercados. A few years ago I made a deal with one of the mercados to freeze and store my fillets for $5 a day in the freezer that they kept thier ice in. I probrbly had 20-30 1 gallon freezer bags full by the end of the week and when we went to pick up our fillets and pay the guy on the morning we were leaving we found out that he had gone to Ensenada for a few days. No big deal except he had locked the freezer and forgot to leave the keys! Storing your daily catch has always been a problem in Baja. I usually just catch 6, 40-50 lb tails on the last day and dont worry about freezing! (yeah right!!!)

Work is just something I do to keep me buzy between baja trips!

Diaz Compound Fuel Depot

That's the 'gas staion' off the dirt road to Camp Gecko, just as you are leaving town going south. The other 'gas station' is along the pavement as you enter town from the northwest (signed: 'Filtered Gas').
