Gonzaga Bay to Lake Chapala

Has anyone been on the Gonzaga bay to Lake Chapala road lately -- what is the condition -- how bad is the washboard? Also from BOLA south to Mission Borja? Planning on wathcing the Baja 500 and then wandering south and exploring.
Thanks

See Santiago's report...

We drove it on Jan. 1, 2009 and it was in great shape... was graded just before, it seemed.

The really BAD part is north of Gonzaga, which has not been maintained since the washouts and Baja 1000 of 2006... all funds must be goint to the paving of that section? Allow 3-5 hours for that part (47 miles).
