Photo: The Baja Highway 40 years ago!

I was lucky to have been on this very road and remember... 1966! This is along Bahia Concepcion, hand built by the prisoners from Mulege's prison in paradise. Photo from Choral Pepper...

Hola Antonio, I just may. Following the death of Choral Pepper, I was given boxes full of her Desert Magazine and Erle Stanley Gardner trip photos, as per her wishes (Choral was a dear friend and saw the love of Baja in me that Erle also possesed).

I have the domain http://ChoralPepper.com where I have started posting the photos. Take look there. I need to organize hundreds and scan dozens more for all of you to enjoy. Free Time and energy is all I need to continue!

Choral's Baja Missions, Mysteries & Myths manuscript is something I have wanted to get published as well. AA has been a big help with that project.

I Remember

I remember the day Choral e-mailed me a group of her photos, as I tried to explain to her how to reduce their size. Great photos though.

What a great lady she was, I will never forget the few moments I had with her and how gracious she was inviting me into her home, what a beautiful and warm woman she was......"RIP" Corkie....You are missed!

DK, if your box of Choral Pepper's stuff happens to include the October 1968 issue of Desert (which I think has a piece on Baja's Plants and Indians), I'd certainly like to buy it from you.

Also, a while back you told me of a book written by someone in San Felipe, a post I haven't been able to relocate. If you still remember the book and where I can order it from, I'd be most appreciative.
