Wow, all I can say is I think I've eaten the best carne asada tacos in the world here.

Where's the roasted chilis?

We ate there almost every day when I had the Titanic exhibit. Awsome tacos and one of the few places that puts beans in em.
There's a couple other places that are worth trying as well if your interested Bob.
Great photos and now I know where I'm going for lunch! Gracias Amigo.

Tacos

Might be a ways to go, but here's my favorite, on Independencia near the Hotel Lucerna in Mexicali. Open 24/7 and really the best. Always served with a bowl of beans and a plate for fried green onions and chiles. 8 pesos per taco. Besides asada, the have el pastor, a couple more styles of carne, and pollo. Sodas and aguas 8 pesos. Great food - great spot.

Was going to give the GPS coord's but can't find them right now. If it wasn't 120 miles I'd be heading out about now.

JR, I'd be interested in trying other places also. I'm always up for trying recommended taco stands, etc.

Here's a couple

Jr's Tacos hahahahaha. Not affiliated. Located just south of the AM PM on the west side of the free road. Better shrimp tacos than Puerto Pe?asco. Fish ones exceptional as well.

Birria La Michoacana and the one to the south. About a hundred or so yards south of Jr's Tacos, same side of street.

Tacos Manuel at the north end of Rosarito on the east side of street has some great food as well. Personally I like the Quesadillas with meat but it's all good!

And then, there's the restaurants. Some you wouldn't believe.

Tacos La Ermita...

In Tijuana I recommend: Tacos La Ermita, in La Mesa area.

They serve a different kind of taco, you should try them. However they do have short bussiness hours, I think they close tuesdays and the rest of the week they open from 6:00 pm to midnight.

Enjoy...!!!:D
