haven't been there....always wanted to go, maybe one day i will do it.

seem to gravitate more to the ocean though. have to expand my horizons i guess.....

It's an interesting runway Capt. Mike...


slopes uphill about 100', one way - land uphill takeoff downhill - landing into a box canyon - no go-arounds. But it's pretty long and I managed to survive about 50 takeoffs and landings there in C172, C210 and various Bonanzas. Never did take the Baron in there. But if I can do it, anybody can do it. MLR was a big favorite. On the way back from a lot of our trips we would stop at Abreojos and buy lobster and abalone, bring it to Meling where Aida would whip it into an incredible meal. But I digress....
