Flowers, nudibranchs and otters from the Central California Coast

The wildflowers are going crazy at Carrizo Plain now:

And the nudibranchs were in Morro Bay:

So were the otters, a mom and pup swimming side by side chomping on clams:

Beautiful, as always---

But I have such a soft spot for otters that the last two really grab me. Love your work.

Thanks

Wonderful shots, Ken. The neon blue in the Nudibranch is beautiful.
Thanks.

What beautiful pictures you've given us today, Ken.

That tree all alone and bare in the field - ethereal.
And the otters are soooo cute.

But the simple joy of that field of yellow flowers - takes my breath away!

nice pics Ken, you are one of the best..but it got me to thinkin'....i was just wondering is there a season on otters? like beavers?
i mean for pelts - or is that all way in the past? just curious - i don't know.
i wonder what they might taste like after about 20 hours in a pit smoker...???
javalena ain't all bad but you have to soak em in hard apple cider for about 3 days 1st.

Wonderful pix, Ken. I totally agree that otters are captivating. However, I don't think you'll get the abalone to agree.;D
