Bike Ride Saturday - Rosarito to El Porvenir via Free Road

Not sure if this belongs under Road Conditions or Events...but, there is a bike ride from Pabellon (Walmart/Home Depot) in North Rosarito to Bibayoff Winery on Saturday, Aug 7. Ride starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes through Rosarito via the free road through La Mision to El Tigre and then to El Porvenir ending at Vinedos Bibayoff. AND I'M RIDING! Cuidado!

It was a good ride! I would NOT have wanted to be traveling via car through Rosarito on Saturday morning around 10:30. The road was virtually closed southbound for the cyclists to go through and northbound there some sort of protest march going on! Traffic was at a total standstill in both directions.

HI Kat, I think they are going to have a ride in Valle De Guadalupe.. are you doing that one, my son wants to do it. That would be a good excuse to go eat at Francisco Zarco..

that was the ride last Saturday, Bajacat! Next one coming up is Rosarito-Ensenada on Sept 25. I am going to try to organize an informal ride for Sept 4, starting at Bibayoff to the Free Road south to Ensenada, pick up Rte 3 to Francisco Zarco and back to Bibayoff via El Porvenir.
