Your killing me Ken, after The nomad trail ride in San Felipe,(Presidents day),I don't know how to persuade my wife to let me go...but I will do my best. Maybe I can just met you guys @ Santa Ynez to follow you to Santa Maria Mission..thats and idea...

This is the same Baja Grande as in 2006 - except for double days in San Felipe (w/Caņon del Diablo). I didn't actually see Las Animas Bay, but I heard it was beautiful. One of the attendees who went was a tour leader himself, but blew out his BFGoodrich All-Terrain tire on the road out of LA Bay near the cemetary.:P This time, I want to see Animas Bay, too.

Well... it is on and next to the hill the road goes around 2 miles from the bay... if the left fork (most travelled), you can see the wall on the hill to your right. If the right fork you pass the reservoir (below the cave) and right next to the palm trunk that Choral Pepper saw in 1966... the walls are up on top of the hill (out of sight) just past the palm tree. It's well known down here that more people get hurt/killed during samana santo's than the whole combind..me I get hunkerd down and hide,friking zoo time!!
