From the "Dumb and Dumber" or "Hey, I've got an idea"
American ingenuity at work: From a 1999 police report in The Messenger (Maddisonville KY.), concerning two trucks being driven strangely on a rual
road:
A man would drive one truck a 100yrds., stop, walk back to a second truck, drive it 100 yrds. beyond the second truck, drive a 100yrds. and so on.
Acording to police, the man's brother had passed out drunk in one of the trucks, so the man decided to drive both trucks home. (Not surprisingly, a
blood-alcohol test showed that he, too, was impaired.)
Don't try this at home folks!

I hope that by the time you get down here,
it will have cooled off enough to enjoy drinking a few beers.

More dumb and dumber
Read this back in the 70's, Chicago:
About 2 a.m. the police patrol spotted a Volkswagon which caught their attention. The patrol car followed for awhile, noting that the car was filled
with people, was being driven very slowly and had no lights, head nor tail. The car was pulled over and the occupants questioned. Yes, it turns out
they knew they were driving in the dark without lights... said they had to turn off lights because they ran out of gas about 20 miles back.
Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.

Bear has tast for beer...but he's picky
Baker Lake Wa.---Rain-eeeeeer ... Bear?
When state Fish and Wildlife agents recently found a black bear passed out on the lawn of Baker Lake Resort, there were some clues scattered
nearby--dozens of empty cans of Rainier Beer.
The bear apparently got into campers' coolers and used his claws and teeth to puncture the cans. And not just any cans.
"He drank the Rainier and wouldn't drink the Busch beer," said Lisa Broxson, bookkeeper at the campground and cabins resort east of Mount Baker.
Fish and Wildlife enforcement Sgt. Bill Heinck said the bear did try one can of Bush, but ignored the rest.
"He didn't like that (Busch) and consumed, as near as we can tell, about 36 cans of Rainier."
A wildlife agent tried to chase the bear from the campground but the animal just climbed a tree to sleep it off for another four hours. Agents
finally hearded the bear away, but it returned the next morning.
Agents then used a large, humane trap to capture it for relocation, baiting the trap with the usual: doughnuts, honey and , in this case, two open
cans of Rainier. That did the trick.
I wonder what he would have done had he had the choice of Pacifico?
