Historic House in Baja: Where is it???

This was the home of Mexico's governor of California, Pio Pico after he left because of the Bear Flag Revolt. Later, 'President' William Walker made it his capitol and headquarters for his self proclaimed Republic of Lower California in 1853-54.

Can you name the town this house is in?

San VIcente

San VIcente was the military headquarters for La Frontera, and thus a logical target for Walker. David K. posted the story of Walker's incursion, taken from Choral's book.

Yes Elizabeth, correct... to find the house turn west at the plaza... it is near the edge of the river valley. A neighbor walked over and told us about Pio Pico using it before Walker.
