For those of you heading south please stay at the Baja Cactus Motel in El Rosario for a
night of rest. I stayed there for four days and was not disappointed. They have very nice rooms for 250 Pesos and up. I stayed in the 250 Peso a night
room and was very happy with my room. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Stay there and eat at Mama Espinoza’s Restaurant.

My only complaint about staying at Baja Cactus is that the closest available restaurant is Mama Espinoza's. I stayed at Baja Cactus 9 times this
summer and fall and did not really have a good meal at Mamas any of those times. I like all the people working there, it has really been cleaned up.
Breakfast is wonderful, but I have come to prefer the taco stand across the street. I did have a friend who recommended the crab soup, so maybe I
will give it one more chance.

Drive down to the other end of town and eat at Ed's "Baja's Best Bar & Restaurant" or Hugo's "Tacos Mision" for different experiences. There are
other places as well!

Really had much the same thought ... seemed like a natural ... IMHO
Not sure of total costs to the operations .... but, sure think there would be more than a few takers on "delivery" to the room .... I mean ya can
order a lot of other "things" from ones room and/or camp site ..... just saying..

David, anyone else: I only eat at Ed's but wondering if any other places measure up -- I'm talking about sit down, ambiance, etc.

Boy, howdy, I sure would use the delivery service to the Baja Cactus.
Nothing worse than having to get in the rig again to go out for dinner. And too stiff to walk - even tho' . . .
Always had bad meals at Mama's.
Maybe Antonio will see this and make it happen.

We used to eat some meals at Primo's BOCANA BEACH RESTAURANT (now SINAHI RESTAURANT, or both names on the building)... In front of the Sinahi Motel
and RV Park. Had a couple less than special meals there, and with so many other choices in El Rosario, haven't gone back recently.
Here is a map that I made of El Rosario in 2006... with the restaurants/ taco stands highlighted:
There are restaurants at #13, #30 and #34, and others... but we haven't been to them since 2005/ 2006... We have had such good food at Ed's and
Hugo's, no need to go other places.
There is a NEW restaurant across from Ed's at the end of town, in front of the new TURISTA MOTEL. (Bad name for a restaurant, if they use Turista!)

will the taco stand emplyees be using the bano at the pemex station?
what el rosario needs is some food on the lighter side, perhaps a vietnemese restaurant!
is there a vietnamese deli or restaurant anywhere in baja?

Yah, we all go to Mexico for Vietnamese food!
(although Mexicali is famous for its Chinese food!)
